Sarah Menet was pronounced dead but she did not die. Her near death experience (NDE) is one of the most extensive ever recorded. This book contains many worthwhile insights about the afterlife and the future. However, I'm not sure her concept of a preexistent soul (before conception) is consistent with Catholic and other Christian theologies. Sarah makes it clear that the future events can be altered by our prayers. A good and fast read.
This is a book that needs to be read prayerfully. I will be reading it again. Basically the story of a near-death experience. Parts of Ms. Menet's writing had kind of a new-age feel that seemed a little off to me, hence the rating. Definitely needs discernment. I enjoyed reading about heaven and some of the lessons learned. Food for thought and encouraging.
I have been reading ALOT OF BOOKS, this is by far a very good book about GOD AND JESUS, about HEAVEN and descriptions. This young lady went through SO much, makes my life seem simple but yet it has not been. I appreciate SHE wrote this book and by the Grade of GOD, I purchased it. I could not hardly put it away. I WILL READ IT AGAIN, THANK YOU.
I have read several books from different individuals on their near death experiences. I have tried to keep an opened mind to their experiences and what I can do in my own life to improve. Sarah gave me a lot to think about. I especially am giving a lot of thought to forgiveness. One thing I would have liked to have known more about was did she have a better perspective of why her father was the way he was? Sometimes knowing what has happened to others gives us some insight to why they behave the way they do.
This is an extremely interesting book and, once started, hard to put down. It is very captivating as the author gives first hand accounts from those under her hospice care awaiting death, the dying process and what they experience as their time approaches. She also goes into detail of some who have told her of NDE's (near death experiences) they have had which gives one hope as well as a warning as to how we live our lives. I highly recommend this book to both believers as well as those who have doubt or questions as to what happens as death approaches and beyond.
once you begin reading this book, you cannot put it down. you know truth when you see it. Sarah did. Pay attention to what This book says we must learn in this life. It will and has deeply affected my life. May may people take the wisdom from this book and change their lives.
I appreciate the author's courage in sharing this very unique and personal story. I, personally have been uplifted and strengthened by the information. If you read this book with an open mind and heart there will be many things of great value to you. Things like this are spiritually discerned and mostly for the spiritually minded. We all need to be more spiritually minded in these difficult and challenging times. This book is definitely a gift to this darkening world and a beam of light to those with eyes to see.
